She took a walk to the coffee shop alone...wiping her tears...trying to fix those broken pieces...those words she trusted had gave her endless mournings...throughout her journey of love, being stabbed continously had made her vulnerable...inflicted by those false hopes...fake words and so call trust ...she compressed those in her mind...intimidated...depression was all she had....pain pinned her to the wall...how she could ever have a breakthrough in her life...? Yes by...healing herself....❤
Ways to battle depression
- Share your burden
Having a shoulder to lean on is the most compelling way to battle depression...communication is vital in this case...never isolate yourself..negative thought could pile up and form a hideous monster...that is how depression attack you...sharing your burdens to the one who actually lend their ears is a better way to heal your wounds...much better if someone empathize and listen to your situation because it is comforting...it will ease your burden and bring u into the right state of mind...a little bit of attention is what they need to recover...depressed one should be nourished with love, care, empathy, and some really kind and generous words ...taking good care of a person with depression will trash the thoughts of suicide...to avoid the worst to occur...every single one in this society is responsible...take a moment to ask someone how is their life going or do they need any help...it's the only minor effort to be taken every now and then to save lives...
- Take a break from your working routine
Taking breaks can prevent depression from worsening...work must not consume your ME time ...having time for yourself is important...taking a deep breath... remaining silent for a moment to silent your hectic mind...getting a cup of coffee... or taking a walk in the nature will kill those thoughts...do not let your workloads compress your mind...that is when your negative thoughts gets louder..save a part of your day just for yourself...smile a little...laugh a little...just breathe a little....
- Eliminate a toxic relationship
Here we go...toxic relationships are one of the major causes of depression...eliminating a toxic relationship will free your thoughts...there is lack of trust...the relationship is imbalance is because you don't receive as much as you give...constant fear gripping your blood vessels..you feel insecure all the way because of this toxic relationship...here is where your mind and heart doesn't feel safe...eliminating these type of relationship is just an act of realizing your self worth...if you don't see any positive growth...don't waste time anymore....much more out there to be explored...or many more out there will accept the way you are and will do anything to keep you...don't feel bad to eliminate those toxic relationship you are in now...don't be a submissive to anyone...you make your own choices...
- Be with people who will lift you up
These kind of people are gems...they will strengthen you...embrace your flaws...and encourage you...the advises will always open a way out of the hectic part of your life...the must be one person in everyone's life ...recall them...find them...connect with them...if their already with you...then you are ready enough to overcome depression...smaller the circle...the lesser the problems...keep your circle tight with the people who are worth your friendships...
- Sleep
Never mess up your sleep schedule...resting your mind out of your restless day is essential...8 hours of sleep a day is able to give you rest over the thoughts pondering your mind for the past 16 hours...you just don't think about anything while you are asleep...unless you dream...dreams are magical and nightmares are a good horror movie...the thoughts that will cause your head to be messed up will be vanished when you are asleep...have a proper sleep schedule..if your not a person who could sleep 8 hours a day...take a nap anytime in that day...even a nap can rest your mind...if you are an overthinker..u really need naps and tight hugs...to calm your waves of thoughts...
Eventually...people need people...people need breaks and good sleep to overcome depression....☺
